Naruto Vol. 28

Part II of the Naruto Manga series begins with Naruto returning to Konoha along with Jiraiya after two and a half years. The remaining members of Team 7 return to the spot of the first bell test and prepare themselves for battle. Fighting into the night Naruto and Sakura can’t get a bell until Naruto decides to play dirty! We then travel to the Wind Country where Hidden Sand prepares their defense against the threat of Akatsuki. Outside the village two members of Akatsuki begin their moves to remove the village’s protection. Gaara of the Sand feels their presence and faces one of the, the insane artist, Deidara. Being carried away, Gaara loses the battle but manages to protect his village. With Gaara being carried off Kankurou runs off in pursuit of his brother's abductors and faces the other Akatsuki member, Sasori a pupper master. Naruto and his team learn of the attack and then set off for Hidden Sand while Tsunade assign a second team to join them shortly.
