Expeditions is the highly anticipated sequel to the successful game Scythe, transporting players on a new adventure in Siberia. Here, a massive meteor has crashed near the Tunguska River, awakening an ancient blight. A mission led by Dr. Tarkovsky delves into the taiga to uncover more about the meteor's impact on the land. Simultaneously, war heroes privately finance their own quests, hoping to discover artifacts, overcome challenges, and achieve glory.

Expeditions is a competitive card-based strategy and exploration game. Players engage by playing cards to gain strength, cunning, and unique worker abilities. They move their machines to mysterious locations, collect cards from tiles, utilize workers, items, meteors, and quests to enhance their machines, using strength and cunning to eliminate the blight. The game includes 5 large machine miniatures, 20 location tiles, over 100 uniquely illustrated cards, 50 worker meeples, a bag of 36 silk-screened blight tiles, a powerful solo Automa system, and much more.
