Calimala

"Calimala" is a strategic board game designed by Fabio Lopiano and published by ADC Blackfire Entertainment GmbH in 2017. Set in medieval Florence, players assume the roles of cloth merchants aiming to gain prestige through production, trade, and architectural contributions. The game accommodates 3 to 5 players aged 12 and above, with an estimated playtime of 45 to 75 minutes.

Gameplay Overview:

In "Calimala," players assign their employees to various streets within Florence, each connecting two locations where specific actions can be performed. These actions include producing and delivering cloth, contributing to the construction and decoration of buildings, and influencing the city council. As employees complete actions, they advance in the city council, triggering scoring phases. The game concludes after a predetermined number of scoring phases, with the player accumulating the most prestige points emerging as the winner.
