Midnight: Crown of Shadow

Crown of Shadow is a full-length campaign for 2nd or 3rd level characters that takes place in the universe of Midnight. In addition, the book contains a host of new character options; including four new backgrounds, new magic items, and rules for famed covenant items of Midnight. All this material is fully compatible with the 5th edition SRD, and makes the book invaluable for players and game masters alike!

PITCH OF THE CAMPAIGN:
In a land plagued by darkness, you are one of the rare few who have taken a stand against the forces of the evil god
Izrador. So when the free dwarves ask for aid in completing a mission vital to the battered armies of good, you pledge your blade to their cause. Little did you realize this would only be the first step in an adventure to thwart Izrador’s seemingly inevitable victory.

• Crown of Shadow is an adventure designed for low level characters (2nd to 3rd level), but advances them up to 8th
level by the end of the campaign. When combined with the downloadable (as yet unreleased) adventure A Single
Spark, or the Well of Rebellion adventure in the Midnight Game Master’s Kit, it provides an easy path to turn starting
characters into seasoned veterans, ready for anything the world of Midnight has to offer.
• The adventure has enough material for 12 to 16 game sessions, providing months of entertainment for every gaming group.
• The adventure is designed to showcase multiple aspects of the Midnight setting, from the besieged dwarven holds in the high mountains, to the lands of humanity occupied by legions of orcs, all the way to the forest redoubts of the elves.
