PS5 Game - Stranger Than Heaven

Stranger Than Heaven is an exciting action-adventure game developed by RGG Studio and published by SEGA. The game follows the story of Makoto Daito, a Japanese-American of mixed descent, on a fifty-year journey through five different eras and cities of Japan: Kokura in 1915, Kure in 1929, Minami in 1943, Atami in 1951, and Shinjuku in 1965. Players will experience Makoto's evolution from a marginalized youth to a successful music performance producer, facing challenges and opportunities in each era.

The game features an innovative combat system that allows players to control Makoto's limbs independently, offering a realistic and dynamic battle experience. Additionally, players can collect sounds from the environment and create original musical compositions, used in performances organized by Makoto. Stranger Than Heaven also includes appearances by renowned artists such as Snoop Dogg and a digitally recreated Tupac Shakur, adding a unique dimension to the narrative. The game is set to release on January 15, 2027, for the PlayStation 5, providing a deep and multi-layered experience for players.

From Jan. 2028, newly released games on PlayStation will be available for purchase on PlayStation Store and at retailers in digital format only.  Discs for games released before Jan. 2028 can continue to be played on this console.
