PS5 Game - Control Resonant Steelbook Edition

The Control Resonant Steelbook Edition for PlayStation 5 is the highly anticipated sequel to the award-winning game Control, developed by Remedy Entertainment. In this adventure, players take on the role of Dylan Faden, who, after years of captivity by the Federal Bureau of Control (FBC), must confront a mysterious cosmic entity that warps reality. Dylan must harness his new supernatural powers to combat the threats engulfing Manhattan while searching for his sister, Jesse Faden, the director of the FBC.

The game offers extensive exploration of Manhattan's areas, with landscapes distorted and reshaped by the influence of the Hiss and other supernatural threats. Players will experience unique sensations thanks to the features of the DualSense controller, such as haptic feedback and adaptive triggers, enhancing the action's immersion. The Control Resonant Steelbook Edition includes the game in a special SteelBook case, three high-quality prints, and a poster featuring the game's key artwork. Its release is scheduled for September 24, 2026, and it is available for pre-order, offering special bonuses like the Hiss Corruption Outfit, Occult Outfit, and the Pickpocket’s Tool Artifact.

From Jan. 2028, newly released games on PlayStation will be available for purchase on PlayStation Store and at retailers in digital format only.  Discs for games released before Jan. 2028 can continue to be played on this console.
