PS5 Game - Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy

Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy is the latest addition to the popular A Plague Tale series, set for release on August 27, 2026, for PlayStation 5. Developed by Asobo Studio and published by Focus Entertainment, the game is set 15 years before the events of A Plague Tale: Requiem, featuring Sophia, a young pirate and smuggler, on a quest to uncover the truth about her past.

The story unfolds on the Island of the Minotaur, where Sophia faces deadly trials, navigates dangerous paths, and solves puzzles, all while trying to evade a pursuing army. The game offers a unique experience by blending action, myth, and destiny, introducing a fresh perspective to the A Plague Tale universe. Players will have the chance to switch between the Medieval era and the ancient Minoan period, with past events influencing the present. Sophia is equipped with new abilities such as wielding swords, daggers, and a hook, and the combat system includes parries, dodges, and attacks, providing a more dynamic and aggressive approach compared to previous titles in the series.

From Jan. 2028, newly released games on PlayStation will be available for purchase on PlayStation Store and at retailers in digital format only.  Discs for games released before Jan. 2028 can continue to be played on this console.
