PS5 Game - Sniper Elite 5

The Sniper Elite 5 is the latest addition to the award-winning series, offering an unparalleled sniper experience, tactical third-person combat, and an enhanced kill cam. Players will fight in the most immersive maps to date, featuring real-world locations captured in stunning detail, with an improved movement system allowing for greater exploration than ever before.

In France, 1944, elite marksman Karl Fairburne joins a covert operation by American Rangers to weaken the Atlantikwall fortifications along the Breton coast. During the mission, he connects with the French Resistance and uncovers a secret Nazi plan, Operation Kraken, which threatens to end the war before the Allies can invade Europe.

The game features an extensive campaign with real-world locations rendered through photogrammetry, creating a vibrant and immersive atmosphere. Players can complete missions solo or team up with a friend, with enhanced cooperation mechanics allowing for ammo and item sharing, command issuing, and mutual healing.

Weapon physics and movement options have been improved, enabling players to use ziplines, slide down slopes, and creep past enemies to reach the perfect spot. Weapon customization is extensive, with the ability to modify scopes, stocks, barrels, magazines, and more, while players can choose suitable ammunition for each target, from armor-piercing to non-lethal.

The Invasion mode allows one player to invade another's campaign as an Axis sniper, adding a new layer of challenge. Alternatively, players can call in a second sniper for assistance. Competitive multiplayer supports up to 16 players, with character customization and the ability to earn XP, medals, and ribbons. For those who prefer cooperation, the Survival mode allows teaming up with up to 3 other players against waves of enemies.

The improved kill cam is more realistic and gruesome than ever, showcasing the true destructive power of each shot. Bones deflect bullets unpredictably, opening new paths through enemy bodies. SMGs and pistols can also trigger the kill cam, including multiple slow-motion shots.
