The Dragon is Dead: Guernian Edition for PlayStation 5 is an exhilarating 2D dark fantasy roguelite action game that combines hack-and-slash combat with permanent progression and deep character customization through loot and runes. You take on the role of an immortal Successor, blessed by the gods Lu, Ashuran, and Harnia, battling through corrupted levels that reshape with each attempt, revealing the truth behind the Black Dawn and the corruption of Guernian.

The game offers three distinct classes: the Sorcerer Blade, blending melee combat with mid-range attacks using fire, ice, and lightning; the Berserker, specializing in massive damage by sacrificing health and positioning for increased resilience; and the Hunter, mastering ranged battles with throwing weapons, poisons, and beastly abilities. Permanent progression allows the retention of equipment, runes, and core unlocks after each death, facilitating strategic approaches to each new attempt. The Guernian Edition includes a special case, character cards, and a lore sheet, making it perfect for collectors. The physical edition release is scheduled for July 14, 2026.
