In Resident Evil 4, we find Leon S. Kennedy six years after the biological disaster of Raccoon City.
His unparalleled determination led to his recruitment as an agent reporting directly to the President of the United States. With experience from many missions behind him, Leon is tasked with rescuing the recently kidnapped daughter of the President. Leon follows her trail to a remote European village, but after first contact, he discovers that irrational zeal has overtaken the local population.
A classic game revived – Resident Evil 4 retains the essence of the original game while being rebuilt with Capcom’s RE Engine. It offers realistic graphics and added narrative depth to the iconic story, something not possible at the time of the original release.
Modernized gameplay – The team from the 2019 Resident Evil 2 returns to bring new elements to the survival horror approach of the series. Engage in frantic battles with the Ganados villagers and explore a European village overwhelmed by madness. Solve puzzles to gain access to new areas and collect useful items for the continued survival of Leon and Ashley.
Overwhelming hordes – Face hordes of frenzied enemies threatening Leon with more attack methods than the original version.
Survive on the razor’s edge – Years of intense training have taught Leon new ways to use his knife, helping him improve his chances of survival against relentless enemy attacks. By facing hostile attacks, you can avoid fatal injuries and evade enemies trying to capture and immobilize Leon. Use knives smartly to perform precision attacks on vulnerable enemies and even use the element of surprise to silently kill unsuspecting foes before your knives break.
Reimagined story – Resident Evil 4 recalls and enhances the core feelings of loneliness and fear of enemies, while providing more accurate depictions of the motivations and relationships of the characters that defined the 2005 survival horror game.
Refined visuals – Built on Capcom’s RE Engine, Resident Evil 4 delivers stunning photorealistic 4K graphics, impressive lighting, and shadows to create an intense atmosphere.
Attaché'd at the Hip – The iconic inventory system returns, allowing Leon to craft ammunition and manage items and resources. It also features new customization options alongside expanded storage space, such as new colors and decorations.
Good things on offer – Beloved characters and gameplay systems return upgraded to provide more meaningful choices to the player. The Weapon Merchant not only offers ways to trade valuable gems you have collected for various goods but also sells and customizes weapons.
