Get ready for a new adventure in the world of Pokémon with Pokémon Shield for Nintendo Switch. Begin as a Pokémon Trainer by choosing one of three new companion Pokémon: Grookey, Scorbunny, or Sobble. Explore the Galar region, a vast area with modern cities, lush plains, forests, and mountains, where humans and Pokémon work together for the region's development. Confront the troublemakers of Team Yell and uncover the mystery behind the Legendary Pokémon Zacian and Zamazenta.

Explore the Wild Area, an expansive stretch of land where you can freely control the camera and discover hidden treasures. Team up with three other players locally or online in the new multiplayer co-op Max Raid Battles, where you'll face giant and powerful Pokémon known as Dynamax Pokémon. Some Pokémon can even become Gigantamax, gaining a new appearance and a powerful set of G-Max moves. Additionally, you can customize your look with new clothes and hairstyles, assign your Pokémon to complete Poké Jobs, and play with them at Pokémon Camp.
