Nintendo has unveiled two new amiibo figures to celebrate the upcoming Kirby Air Riders game: Kirby & Warp Star and Bandana Waddle Dee & Winged Star.
The Kirby & Warp Star amiibo showcases the pink hero riding his iconic Warp Star, a balanced Air Ride Machine that handles smoothly on both land and in the air.
Meanwhile, the Bandana Waddle Dee & Winged Star amiibo features Kirby’s loyal companion, small in size but mighty with his spear. The Winged Star machine may be slow on the ground, but it soars gracefully once airborne.
In Kirby Air Riders, these amiibo can be placed together to form Rider & Air Ride Machine combos, letting players train their figures as Figure Players (FPs). FPs gain levels and machine proficiency, and switching characters between machines retains earned progress.
As with other amiibo, tapping these figures on the Nintendo Switch or Nintendo Switch 2 unlocks in-game extras and features, with compatibility details to be revealed closer to release.
