High Tide

High Tide is a strategic board game designed by Dirk Henn and published by Queen Games. Suitable for 3 to 6 players aged 8 and above, it offers an engaging experience with a playtime of approximately 30 minutes.

Objective:

Players aim to place their deckchairs as close to the water as possible on various beaches, earning victory points based on their proximity to the sea. However, they must be cautious, as the rising tide can sweep away deckchairs that are too near the water.

Gameplay Mechanics:

• Deckchair Placement: Players take turns placing their deckchairs on different beach sections, striving to position them closer to the water than their opponents.
• Wave Movement: At the end of each round, waves advance on two of the beaches. Deckchairs too close to the water are at risk of being swept away.
• Victory Points: After each beach is evaluated, players receive points based on the proximity of their deckchairs to the water.
• Game End: The game concludes when at least one deckchair is caught by a wave or after six rounds. The player with the most victory points at the end wins.
