Night Soil is a strategic board game set in Tudor-era London (1485-1603), a time when the city faces severe sanitation issues due to a lack of modern sewage systems. Players take on the roles of managers of night waste collection companies, known as "night soil." Throughout the game, players use worker cards to move waste cubes through London's narrow alleys, aiming for profit and hiring new workers. During the day, workers can be sent to various neighborhoods to advertise their services, gain favor from local businesses, or improve their company's assets. However, the presence of too many workers can worsen the waste problem. The player with the most money at the end of the game is declared the winner.
