Alliances are formed and trust is betrayed as players negotiate and deceive each other — maintaining a precarious balance of cooperation and competition — to dominate the continent. Diplomacy challenges players to rely on their wit and cunning, rather than dice, to determine the outcome of this game of intrigue and conquest.
