Objective:

In Power Vacuum, players assume the roles of ambitious household appliances vying for the position of Supreme Appliance. The goal is to accumulate power and influence through strategic play, while fulfilling secret agendas to gain additional points.

• Control Board: Tracks power levels and influences among players.
• Agenda Cards: Secret objectives that provide additional points upon completion.

Gameplay Mechanics:

• Setup: Each player receives a hand of cards and an agenda card, which remains secret.
• Trick-Taking Rounds: Players play cards in turns, following the lead suit or playing a trump card. The highest card of the lead suit or the highest trump card wins the trick.
• Power Accumulation: Winning tricks allows players to gain power tokens, which are tracked on the control board.
• Agenda Fulfillment: Players aim to fulfill their secret agendas by manipulating power levels among players, aiming to have the most power in one area and the least in another.
• Endgame: The game concludes after a set number of rounds. Players reveal their agendas and tally their points, with the player having the highest total being declared the Supreme Appliance.
