Board Game Islebound: Emerald Edition

The Islebound: Emerald Edition is a special edition of the popular strategy board game, offering new challenges and revamped gameplay. In this game, players take on the role of captains exploring a mysterious archipelago, collecting treasures, hiring crew, and conquering or allying with island cities. The Emerald Edition introduces significant changes, such as replacing the "book" resource with precious emeralds, acquired by visiting cities owned by other players or capturing new cities. Emeralds are used to purchase building cards and execute special abilities, such as retaining pirates and serpents after battles. Additionally, the building deck has been revised to incorporate these changes, including modified cards from the original game and the Metropolis expansion. Note that the Metropolis expansion is not compatible with this edition.

The Islebound: Emerald Edition offers an exciting experience for 2 to 4 players, aged 12 and up, with a gameplay duration of about 30 minutes.
