The Onitama: Light and Shadow expansion introduces a new strategic element to the Onitama game by adding the Ninja pawn. Unlike other pieces, the Ninja moves secretly, hidden from your opponent's view until it is ready to strike.

• Way of the Shadow: A symmetrical game where each player deploys their own Ninja, creating balanced and strategic gameplay.
• Way of the Light: An asymmetrical game that pits one Ninja player against a traditional Onitama Master and Students player, offering varied challenges and strategies.
