Dreadful Circus is a strategic card game designed for 4 to 8 players aged 14 and above, with an estimated playtime of 30 to 40 minutes. In this game, players assume the roles of rival circus directors aiming to create the most captivating and successful circus. The game introduces a unique twist: as it progresses, players acquire cards that establish their individual final scoring rules, ensuring that each game offers a distinct experience.

Gameplay Overview:

• Objective: Players strive to assemble the most impressive circus by collecting various acts and attractions, each contributing differently to their final score.
• Mechanics: The game employs a bidding system where players secretly place bids using coins and contracts to acquire cards from the seller. These cards can provide immediate benefits or set specific conditions for end-game scoring. The seller reviews each bid in turn, choosing to accept or reject them, which adds an element of bluffing and strategy.
• Components: The game includes 8 player screens, 55 contracts, 24 copper coins, 16 silver coins, 8 gold coins, 8 cardboard wagons, a contracts bag, 2 seller tokens, and 63 circus cards.
