Canvas (English Edition)

"Canvas" is an engaging art-themed board game where players assume the role of painters competing in an art competition. The objective is to create unique paintings by layering transparent art cards, each featuring distinct artwork and scoring icons. The order in which these cards are stacked determines the visible icons, adding a strategic layer to the gameplay. The game accommodates 1 to 5 players aged 14 and above, with an estimated playtime of 30 minutes.

Gameplay Overview:

Players collect art cards and layer three of them to form a painting. Each card contains artwork and a set of icons used for scoring. The arrangement of these cards affects which icons are visible, influencing the painting's score. Paintings are scored based on a set of scoring cards that change each game. Once all players have created and scored three paintings, the game ends, and the player with the most points wins.
