City Blox is a building game using classic interlocking bricks, where you compete to be the first to build an entire city block containing a house, a school, and a supermarket.
Each player receives three plots (building bases) and three landscape cards: a green house card, a yellow school card, and a brown supermarket card. Each landscape card is placed next to an empty plot.
Players take turns selecting a brick piece from the central pile and placing it on any of their plots so that it matches the cut-out shape of the landscape card lying next to that plot.
The first player to correctly place all their bricks on all three plots and fit the corresponding landscape card on top of their completed structure wins the game.
But don’t celebrate too soon! For each completed plot, you must draw an event card and follow the instructions — you might have to swap a brick with another player (faulty delivery), remove a brick from your plot (hurricane), or give all players an extra brick (additional grant). In the world of construction, you never know what might happen next.
