Nidavellir is a strategic auction and set-collection board game designed for 2 to 5 players, ages 10 and up, with an average playtime of 45 minutes. Set in the mythical realm of Nidavellir, players assume the roles of Elvalands, tasked with assembling a formidable army to defend the kingdom against the dragon Fafnir.

Gameplay Overview:

• Objective: Recruit skilled dwarves and heroes to build the most powerful army, earning victory points through strategic recruitment and set collection.
• Mechanics:
• Simultaneous Bidding: Each round, players secretly bid coins on three taverns, each offering different dwarves. The highest bidder in each tavern selects a dwarf to add to their army.
• Set Collection: Dwarves belong to five classes—Blacksmith, Hunter, Warrior, Explorer, and Miner—each with unique scoring methods. Strategically collecting dwarves from these classes is key to maximizing points.
• Hero Recruitment: Completing specific sets of dwarves allows players to recruit powerful heroes, providing additional abilities and points.
• Coin Building: Players can enhance the value of their coins through a "coin-building" system, influencing their bidding power in subsequent rounds.
