Obscurio is a cooperative, asymmetric board game designed for 2 to 8 players, aged 10 and up, with an average playtime of approximately 45 minutes. In this game, players are trapped in a magical library and must work together to find the correct exit doors, all while contending with illusions and a hidden traitor among their ranks.

Gameplay Overview:

• Objective: The goal is to successfully navigate through six rooms by selecting the correct exit doors, thereby escaping the library.
• Roles:
• Grimoire: One player assumes the role of the Grimoire, who knows the correct exit doors and provides visual clues to guide the team.
• Wizards: The remaining players are Wizards who collaborate to interpret the Grimoire's clues and choose the correct doors.
• Traitor: One Wizard is secretly the Traitor, aiming to mislead the team and prevent their escape.
• Mechanics:
• Clue Giving: The Grimoire offers visual clues through illustrated cards, highlighting specific details to guide the Wizards.
• Decision Making: Wizards discuss and decide which exit door to choose based on the clues provided.
• Trap Tokens: Various traps can complicate communication, such as limiting the Grimoire's ability to provide clues or forcing players to reveal exit doors prematurely.
• Voting Phase: If the team suspects a Traitor, they can initiate a vote to reveal the suspected player's role. Incorrect accusations result in penalties.
