Gem is a strategic and tactical board game designed for 2 to 4 players, aged 8 and up, with an average playtime of around 30 minutes. Players take on the roles of gemstone traders, competing to collect and trade valuable gems to amass the greatest wealth.

Objective:

The goal is to score the most victory points by collecting and exchanging gemstones, acquiring development cards, and leveraging their benefits for additional points and advantages.

• 40 development cards
• 50 gemstone tokens in five different colors
• 10 gold tokens (wildcards)
• 1 rulebook

Gameplay:

• Collecting Gemstones: On their turn, players may take gemstone tokens from the supply, limited to specific quantities and combinations as per the rules.
• Purchasing Development Cards: Players use their collected tokens to purchase development cards, which provide victory points and permanent bonuses for future purchases.
• Reserving Cards: Players can reserve a development card for later purchase, gaining a gold token (wildcard) in the process.
• Endgame and Scoring: The game ends when a player reaches or exceeds a predetermined number of victory points. Other players complete the current round, and the player with the most points wins.
