Isle of Skye: Druids (Expansion)

Isle of Skye: Druids is the second expansion for the acclaimed tile-laying game Isle of Skye: From Chieftain to King, designed by Alexander Pfister and Andreas Pelikan. This expansion introduces the mystical druids to the game, offering players new strategic avenues to explore.

Key Features:

• Druid Tiles: The expansion adds 36 new tiles featuring druids, each offering unique abilities. These tiles often include stone tablets or scrolls. Stone tablets grant special powers that can be utilized until the end of the game, while scrolls follow the standard rules of the base game.
• Dolmen Board: A new Dolmen Board is introduced, where druid tiles are placed. Players can purchase these tiles during the second buying phase of each round, adding an additional layer of strategy to the game.
• Additional Scoring Tiles: The expansion includes 6 new scoring tiles, providing further variability and strategic depth to the game.

Gameplay Enhancements:

• Split Buying Phase: The buying phase is divided into two parts. In the first part, players can purchase tiles from their opponents as usual. In the second part, they can acquire tiles from the Dolmen Board, introducing new strategic decisions.

Compatibility:

Isle of Skye: Druids can be played with the base game alone or combined with the first expansion, Journeyman, allowing for a variety of gameplay experiences.
