Innovation: Artifacts of History is the fourth expansion for the strategic card game Innovation, designed by Carl Chudyk and published by Asmadi Games. This expansion introduces unique and significant artifacts from history, such as the Declaration of Independence, each offering powerful effects that can significantly influence the game's outcome.

Key Features:

• Artifact Cards: These cards function similarly to standard Innovation cards but possess more potent effects. Some artifacts include compel effects, which impact opponents who have more icons of a specific type than you.
• Relics: Instead of Special Achievements, players can claim five Relics—lost cards from each of the five Innovation sets. Players can choose to take them as achievements or use them, but be cautious: if you place a Relic in your achievements pile, your opponents may be able to steal it.

Gameplay Enhancements:

This expansion adds depth to the base game by introducing artifacts that can swing the balance in your favor, especially if you're behind. The compel effect adds a strategic layer, allowing players to influence those ahead in icon counts.
