PS5 Game - Barbarian Saga: The Beastmaster

Barbarian Saga: The Beastmaster is an exhilarating 2.5D action-adventure game with Metroidvania elements, developed by Dormidin Studio and published by Selecta Play. Featuring hand-drawn designs inspired by classic anime, the game transports you to the enchanting world of Arborea, where you take on the role of Ren, the last Beastmaster. Utilizing his unique abilities, Ren can absorb the souls of creatures, gaining new powers and transformations that allow him to explore every corner of this rich and secret-laden world.

The game offers seamless Metroidvania-style mapping, where the Beastmaster's abilities open new paths and reveal hidden secrets. Collect beads for your ritual necklace, such as teeth, amulets, and plant roots, which affect your attacks, vitality, or Mana. Discover new sword techniques taught by your old Sensei, use magical potions, or summon curses. With your sword, you can wield the strength of a god. Throughout your adventure, you will encounter numerous NPCs that enhance the story narrative, opening the possibility of new quests, narrative arcs, and different endings.

From Jan. 2028, newly released games on PlayStation will be available for purchase on PlayStation Store and at retailers in digital format only.  Discs for games released before Jan. 2028 can continue to be played on this console.
