The form of Lemmy with the Rickenbacker bass slung over his shoulder, he looked like a WWII soldier with his machine gun, and he was a particularly terrifying but truly beautiful and unforgettable image. Something between Christ and an apocalyptic cowboy, swilling whiskey. And he wasn't kidding either. A few seconds after the above menacing declaration, the band unleashed a non-stop, seismic repertoire of exactly that: Rock and roll. A hellish sonic torrent.
