Board Game The Color Monster

The Color Monster is a cooperative board game inspired by the popular children's book "The Color Monster" by Anna Llenas. Designed by Josep M. Allué and Dani Gómez, this game aims to help children understand and manage their emotions in a fun and interactive way.

In the game, players work together to assist the Monster in sorting its emotions. Each player takes turns rolling the die and moving the Monster on the board. When the Monster lands on a space with an emotion symbol, the player collects it and attempts to find the corresponding jar to place it in. The jars are arranged on shelves with their colors hidden, adding a memory element to the game. To collect an emotion symbol, the player must share a personal experience related to that emotion, thereby enhancing emotional understanding and expression. Players win the game when all emotions are placed in the correct jars, but they lose if the Monster becomes too confused, revealing three jars with mixed emotions.
