Furnace is an
engine-building Eurogame where players assume the roles of
19th-century capitalists aiming to develop their industrial
corporations and amass wealth. Designed for 2 to 4 players aged 14
and up, each game lasts approximately 30 to 60 minutes.

Overview
In
Furnace, players participate in auctions to acquire company cards,
which they then utilize to extract and process resources,
ultimately generating profits. The game is played over four rounds,
each consisting of two phases:
Auction
Phase: Players take turns placing their bidding
discs on company cards. The highest bidder wins the card, while
other participants receive compensation based on their
bids.
Production Phase:
Players activate their acquired company cards to gather resources
and convert them into money, enhancing their industrial
engines.
The player with the most money at the end of the
fourth round is declared the winner.
