Dungeon Lords: Festival Season is a substantial expansion for the acclaimed strategy game Dungeon Lords, designed for 2 to 4 players aged 12 and above, with an estimated playtime of approximately 90 minutes. This expansion introduces several new elements that enhance the depth and complexity of the original game.

Key Features:

• Extended Game Structure: The game now spans two years, each comprising five seasons: winter, spring, summer, autumn, and the newly added festival season. This extension provides players with additional time to develop their dungeons and prepare for incoming adventurers.
• New Monsters, Rooms, and Traps: The expansion introduces a variety of new monsters, rooms, and traps, allowing players to further customize and fortify their dungeons against adventurer incursions.
• Additional Challenges: Adventurers now employ new spells and are accompanied by bards who encourage them to perform "heroic" deeds, adding complexity to the defensive strategies required. Additionally, two paladins are introduced each year, ready to challenge the most malevolent players.
• Unique Opportunities: Each season offers unique actions that replace one of the standard eight actions on the main board. These special opportunities provide players with strategic choices, such as influencing other players' alignment, making investments, or repairing conquered tunnels and rooms.
• Personal Pets: Dungeon Lords can now acquire personal pets, offering new strategic advantages and enhancing the thematic richness of the game.

Festival Season: At the end of each year, the festival season allows players to acquire additional resources or bonuses, providing a final opportunity to strengthen their dungeons before the adventurers' arrival.
