PS5 Game - God of War Laufey™

God of War Laufey™ is the next chapter in the legendary God of War series, set to release exclusively for the PlayStation 5 on February 16, 2027. In this epic adventure, players take on the role of Laufey (Faye), the warrior and wife of Kratos, who, after her death, awakens in a mysterious dimension known as Everywhen. There, she discovers that the plans she set in motion to protect Kratos and Atreus are in jeopardy, and must fight through the realm of the gods to save her loved ones.

The game introduces new combat elements, with Faye wielding the magical Serpent Bow, allowing her to execute swift and precise attacks at both close and long range. Additionally, players can leverage Faye's unique abilities, such as the power to extract the soul of her enemies and turn it against them. God of War Laufey™ offers a deep and emotional narrative, exploring new mythologies and presenting a rich, magical world filled with challenges and secrets waiting to be uncovered.

From Jan. 2028, newly released games on PlayStation will be available for purchase on PlayStation Store and at retailers in digital format only.  Discs for games released before Jan. 2028 can continue to be played on this console.
