If the prophets knew what they were saying, the stakes would be high: On some unspecified day, an unspecified chosen one will find his way to the uncharted world thanks to a magical compass and acquire the most powerful weapon ever. The mythical Blade of Rekirvilor.

Based on the words of the prophets, a mediocre king hires mediocre heroes for mediocre (or even zero) pay to find the compass and bring him the Blade. Among the heroes is the debauched pyromancer Demileus, always wrapped in his -once-clean- fluffy purple robe.

The biggest obstacle that the pyromancer and his companions will have to overcome is not the forces of Evil, which have set their sights on them, but something much worse: bureaucracy.
