Feudum: Rudders & Ramparts is an expansion for the acclaimed strategy game Feudum, introducing artisan-crafted vessels and castles that can be used either as decorative pieces or to play a military variant of the game.

• Artisan-Crafted Components: The expansion includes exquisitely designed vessels and castles, adding a visual appeal to the game.
• Military Variant: Players can choose to incorporate a military aspect into their gameplay, utilizing the new components to enhance strategic depth.
• Upgrades: Upon acquiring a regular vessel or feudum, players may pay an additional shilling to upgrade to a deluxe vessel or castle feudum. Deluxe vessels provide +1 attack, while castle feudums offer +1 defense.
• Maintenance Costs: At the beginning of each epoch, players must pay 1 shilling to maintain each castle or deluxe vessel in their possession; otherwise, they lose the associated advantage.
• Strategic Considerations: Players with castles do not need to reinforce their feudums with subjects, as a "royal guard" accompanies each castle. Conversely, deluxe vessels make opponents in nearby ports potential targets. However, the upkeep costs can gradually deplete a player's resources.
